If you are trying to locate a POP3 mail server to download to, you can either use “Pop Scan” to locate the Server ID of your mailbox server (BBS owner), or you can use the “Find Account ID” feature to locate the Email ID of a particular mailbox (or a group of mailboxes).
POPScan makes use of the POP3 protocol to communicate with the POP3 mail servers in your environment.
POP3 messages are downloaded to the local drive where the selected e-mail program is installed. If you delete all the mail from your account, then POPScan will trigger the desired messaging software to let you know about this.
