Color and Black-and-White

The image is now displayed with a white background, a black layer mask, and a slider that allows you to adjust the intensity of the selected color.

Click on the color range to set the Color Range options.

When you select a color in a small area, the image will automatically have different results in larger areas. Photoshop Elements is very fast at creating color selection. You can set a minimum and maximum color for the selection. You can use it to select a particular color, or you can use the color range to select an area of color.

If you need to select a range of several colors, you can use the Color Picker in the fly-out menu of the Color Range window. After the selection you will see the menu bar with the following items:

Activate Color Range

Erase Color Range

Adjust Color Range

Apply Color Range

If you delete the color range, the image will be reverted to its original state. You can also apply a mask on the image to create further retouching.

You can quickly select different colors, with a nice and fast experience.

Elements 6 has also a new black and white selection tool, which works very well for most of the images, but it does not allow you to use a color range at the same time, which can be useful to remove unwanted color to produce a more contrast black and white image.

Selections can be undone or duplicated. You can also modify or add pixels to the selection. Just click on the area of the image that you want to modify, then use the tools at the right of the menu bar to modify or add pixels

I’ve been using WordPress for a couple years for my personal blog, and while I love the editing UI, it’s not feature rich enough to run a lot of my projects.
I’ve been playing around with Drupal 8.
With BeakerX, it’s easy to switch between WP and Drupal. It also looks to have a lot of the same features as WP.
Have you used BeakerX? Did you find it useful? What other CMS and/or tools did you use to run your projects?

I’m currently using BeakerX for a small client project, and I haven’t used
anything else yet. I’ve used Drupal for a few years. But I don’t like
Drupal’s editing UI. I think it is very bloated and not as efficient as other
content managers.

This is actually why I started using BeakerX, because I tried to customize
Drupal’s content management system and it was painful. BeakerX is a lot more
minimal than Drupal, but a lot of the same features.

I feel like WordPress’ UI is a lot more feature rich than Drupal’s, so it is
hard for me to force myself to use Drupal for anything other than blogging.
WordPress provides a lot of great features that I don’t think Drupal has in
addition to all the basic functions.

UITableView delegate won’t be called

I have a UITableView Controller which has three cells. I add a second instance of the view as a subview, and assign the action method from the view to a delegate. When I call – (void)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView didSelectRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath; I get my message, which means the delegate is OK. However, when I call [tableView reloadData]; the method never gets called. What am I missing?
